8 young artists will come together for 7 days to build the Karaoke Satan Museum at Mixtape Gallery.
It’s a group show, workshop week, skullcore archive, skate witch convention. Whatever you call it, it’s all about youth, Satan and myth-making. Part support group, part ethnography.
The master of ceremonies will be brutal Indonesian Street Artist Ican Harem, who will lead various activities and workshops over the 7 days. Icanwill appear in Perth on behalf of *CANGKANG SERIGALA (‘Shell of the Wolf’), a performance art trio from Yogyakarta, Central Java.
Ican will be joined by Pete Long, Jenness Ray, Korrin Stoney, Kieron Broadhurst, Celene Bridge, Pari Corbitt and Martin E. Wills.
